Is a Ransomware Newsletter Really Necessary?
TL;DR: No
Before I dive in, I want to discuss why I am starting this newsletter. I don’t really think the world needs another newsletter, period, much less one focusing on ransomware. But, there are two things that motivated me:
The subdomain ransomware.substack.com was available, which is kind of cool.
There are some ideas that I want to toy with (like this one) that are too long for Twitter and don’t meet the rigorous requirements for reporting at $dayjob.
If you’d like to subscribe, I’d love to have you onboard. The term “weekly” is probably not accurate. But, I also have a lot of potentially bad ideas, so we’ll see.
